I remember a fight between a student and a teacher while in the 9th grade. I don't remember the boy's name but the teacher was my weird, hyper algebra teacher, Mr. Bradford. The boy had his shirttail out and that went against the dress code. It was between classes. Mr. Bradford grabbed this kid's arm and told him to go into the guy's restroom and tuck his shirttail in. The boy told him to let go and said, flat out "no!" That made Bradford even madder so he pushed the boy towards the restroom and once again told him to tuck his shirttail in. The boy swung at Bradford, Bradford grabbed him by the collar and off they went to the Principal's office. I guess in demonstrating what happened Bradford decked the kid in front of the Principal and knocked him out! Mr. McGill gave Bradford the choice of resigning or being fired. Needless to say we had a sub for our algebra class instructor the rest of the year. I'm not sure what happened to the boy but no more nutty Bradford to contend with! That had to top any fight between students I ever got to witness! Posted: 12/11/2010 |
